I'm a mother, a teacher, a spouse, and a soap maker living and working with my husband and children in Frederick, Maryland.
Soap making in our family was born out of necessity. many family members struggles with different dermatitis. Many prescriptions and over-the counter products only provided temporary relief, if any at all. I started wondering what if I could make our own skin care products without the harsh chemicals found in many available products. Then I started making soaps, lotions, and body butters using ingredients from local stores and local farms. They helped. Later I decided to make soap as gifts for friends and family. They liked them. I could make make all these products out of my own kitchen while my children were asleep.
We now use our soaps, body scrubs and body butters exclusively for are gentle enough for our children and m elderly parents.
Every small batch of our soap is hand crafted with either fresh goats milk , oat milk, almond milk or butter milk blended with skin nourishing oils and butters, and none of the industrial detergents or sulfactants present in most store brands. Our hand cut, hand wrapped bars are allowed to cure for weeks, until they become hard enough and mild enough to be sent to you and your family.
